Facebook Ads training led by former Accenture and General Motors strategist kicks off in May

BEAUFORT, S.C. –- The Beaufort Digital Corridor Foundation is launching a new, in-depth tech workshop series designed to help small business owners navigate digital tools and drive real growth. The series debuts May 7 with a four-part Facebook Ads Workshop led by Eric Siano, a veteran digital strategist with more than two decades of experience working with global brands.

Siano, currently the Managing Director of Blue Leopard LLC in Hilton Head Island, has held leadership roles in marketing and digital transformation at firms including General Motors and Accenture–-a Fortune Global 500 professional services company known for helping organizations modernize through technology and strategy consulting.

"This is a rare opportunity for small businesses in the Lowcountry to learn directly from someone who has crafted marketing systems for global brands," said Jess O'Brien, Executive Director of the Beaufort Digital Corridor Foundation. "Through this series, we're turning high-level expertise into accessible, hands-on learning for entrepreneurs right here in our community."

The Facebook Ads Workshop Series runs May 7, 14, 21, and 28 from 12 to 2 p.m. at BASEcamp in downtown Beaufort. Each session builds from foundational concepts to advanced strategy, including:

  • Setting up and navigating Meta Business Suite
  • Creating and targeting Facebook ads through Ads Manager
  • Tracking performance metrics like CTR, CPC, and ROAS
  • Testing, retargeting, and scaling campaigns for optimal ROI

Lunch will be provided, and participants are encouraged to bring laptops and a draft ad for real-time guidance.

Siano's background also includes serving as Lead Instructor for digital marketing programs at U.S. universities through ThriveDX, and leading marketing technology initiatives at software giant Infor. He holds an MBA in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

The workshop series is a key deliverable of the Stimulate SC Grant, which funds innovative programs that support workforce development and small business upskilling across South Carolina.

This program is made possible in part by SNS Technologies, a longtime supporter of tech entrepreneurship in the region.
